At BEONx, we have had the privilege of working closely with Barceló Hotel Group on a transformative project that began two years ago. From the outset, our goal has been clear: to provide their Revenue Management team with a technological platform that not only facilitates decision-making but also optimizes daily operations and maximizes hotel performance. This joint effort has allowed us to tackle complex challenges and explore new ways to manage revenue in a constantly evolving industry.

Today, more than 80 hotels in the chain have already implemented our solution, and the latest additions to the Barceló EMEA portfolio have joined the project and are currently undergoing implementation. Beyond the numbers, what truly makes us proud is how we have worked together to transform the company’s revenue management into a more agile, precise, and efficient operation. This collaboration is a testament to how technology and expertise can come together to create a significant and sustainable impact on the hospitality industry.

Group Management: Greater Visibility and Better Decisions

We recognize that managing group bookings is a key area for the company. To address this, we developed a specific solution for this segment, which is now fully operational within their platform.

What improvements did we implement?

  • Revenue managers can now analyze not only confirmed bookings but also those in “tentative” or “prospect” status, thanks to the integration of these new states into the analysis tools.
  • We introduced the “Group Booking Management” view, allowing all group-related data to be visualized in one place with the level of detail each user requires.
  • This information has been integrated into the algorithm, meaning recommendations are now more precise and optimized according to the status of each group.

Tour Operation Module: A Game-Changer

The Tour Operations Module (TOM) has been a key development for Barceló EMEA, specifically designed to address the unique needs of its vacation portfolio. This solution, now fully operational and unique in the RMS market, enables teams to manage tour operator-related operations with greater precision, optimizing decision-making and maximizing performance in this strategic segment. TOM is a clear example of how BEONx tailors solutions to its clients, revolutionizing how they tackle day-to-day challenges.

Additionally, the Overview Table has been one of the most celebrated innovations by Barceló Hotel Group’s teams. Since its implementation, this tool has transformed how revenue managers handle daily information, eliminating manual calculations and Excel spreadsheets.

Data is now organized more intuitively, allowing all hotel spaces to be managed at a glance.

Predefined view – "Daily RM Decisions"

Created specifically from client feedback, this includes all relevant information for daily decision-making.

Total flexibility

Each user can customize views, add new columns, and choose how much information to expand or collapse based on their needs.

  • Eliminates manual calculations: Automatic data aggregation, such as monthly totals, saves time and reduces errors.

Thanks to this tool, Barceló Hotel Group’s team has gained not only efficiency but also confidence, knowing they have a solution that meets their needs.
